Chantal Kohlmeyer
 

Chantal Kohlmeyer is a choreographer, dancer, and dance educator. She is the founder of Studio Pro Arte, a cultural center in Freiburg/Merzhausen dedicated to dance and performance, and of the international Frei Art Festival for dance, music, and performance art. Her curatorial work includes developing new artistic formats and hosting residencies and productions with artists from across Europe. As a choreographer, she creates her own pieces while fostering collaborations with companies and independent creators. Deeply committed to cultural education, she founded the association Jugend Pro Arte e.V. in 2008, which continues to provide a platform for youth engagement and artistic projects in Freiburg.
