Thusnelda Mercy
 

Born in Marseille in 1977 and raised in Wuppertal, Thusnelda Mercy is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and rehearsal director. A graduate of the Folkwang University of the Arts, she has performed with Sasha Waltz and Pina Bausch and collaborated with other internationally renowned choreographers. She is rehearsal director for the Pina Bausch Foundation and teaches regularly worldwide. Since 2015, she co-directs the company merighi | mercy, and since 2020 she has been co-artistic director of Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof in Wuppertal, developing projects that bridge tradition and contemporary creation.
