Thyrsa Da Rosa
 

Born in Asunción, Paraguay, Thyrsa Da Rosa graduated in Classical Ballet Pedagogy at the National Institute of Fine Arts of Paraguay and studied Modern Dance at the University of Oklahoma, with emphasis on Graham and Limón techniques. She has danced with the National Ballet of Paraguay, Momentum Dance Company in Guatemala, and as a founding member of Hartel Dance Group in Oklahoma City, performing across the United States, Spain, Mexico, and Paraguay. Since 2014, she has been on the faculty and jury of the Seminario Internacional de Danca de Brasilia, and since 2016 has taught annually at Centre de la Dansa de Catalunya in Barcelona. A certified Pilates and Progressing Ballet Technique instructor, she is also an ABT® National Training Curriculum Fellowship Teacher (Levels Primary–5). She is co-founder of the Oklahoma International Dance Festival and currently teaches at the School of Oklahoma City Ballet, Sooner Theatre, and Central Oklahoma Dance Company.
