

Tessa Fungo
Tessa Fungo is a New York City-based movement creative. Working both on stage and on film, she currently work with Ballaro Dance and freelances. Her training includes a BFA in modern dance from the University of Oklahoma, a variety of workshop and intensive trainings both nationally and internationally, clown and acting, and a range of styles including ballet, modern, hip hop and jazz. The idea that experience is the greatest conduit to creative is a mantra she lives by, and consistently seeks new ways to move through the world. Favorite performances to-date include Billie Eilish, Earth Wind and Fire, and the Five Moons Dance Festival.
In 2024, Tessa was invited to SOLOCOREOGRAFICO Solo Dance Festival with her work Claire de Loser. For the Frankfurt edition, she will perform two works by choreographers Austin Hartel and Raffaele Irace. Within the same festival, she will also serve as a faculty member for the SOLOCOREOGRAFICO Youth Program.
